Few salient features of 7th Pay Commission Report

1.       14% increase in pay
2.       One Rank One Pension recommended for Civilian and Defence personnel (Page 395 to 419)
3.       Higher Pension for the Defence personnel not agreed
4.       Disparity in the Military Service Pay to continue. (Rs.3600 for NCs (E), Rs.5200 for JCO/NCO/OR, Rs.10800 for MNS, Rs.15500 for Commissioned Officers)
5.       Pay scales of defence personnel compressed from Sepoy to Brigadier.
