Revision of Pension of Pre -01.01.2006 Pensioners

Subject: Revision of Pension of Pre -01.01.2006 Pensioners


kindly refer to this department OM No.2/51/2008-1 pension, dated 06.02.2015 vide which it was decided to step up pension up to 50% (fifth percent) and family pension upto 30% (thirty percent) repectively (w.e.f. 06.02.02015) of the sum of minimun of pay in the pay band and the grade pay (including HAG scale) corresponding to the pre-revised pay scale from which the pensioners had retired, as arrived at with refernce to the fitment tables annexed to the Finance Department's (Pay Revision Branch) letter No. 1/83/2008-1PR(FD) dated 07.01.2009/27.01.2009.

 2. In the para 9 of above OM, all the Pension Disbursting Authorities wre requested to revise the Pension/Family Pension of the pre-01.01.2006 pensioners as per provision contained in that OM. 

3. A number of reference were received from the Pension Disbursing Authorities to issue guidelines to all HODs for revision of pension/family pension as per above OM dated 06.02.2015 as relevant data of retires are not available with them.

4. After due consideraion, it has now been decided by State Government that all pre 1.1.2006 pensioner/family pensioner will made request to department concerned for revision of pension/family pension (as the case may be) in the following format and department will forward the same to Pension disbursing Authority/Treasury Officers concerned.

5. It is therefore, requested to direct the Head of Office/DDOs (Dealing with pension) working under their control, to do the needful immediately.
