ORDER

Government are pleased to order that Special Festival Allowance @ of Rs.2200/- will be paid to the following categories of employees working in the Public Sector Undertakings provided no other type of payment (cash/kind) is made to them in lieu of bonus.


i.                    Employees of PSUs exempted from payment of bonus in the initial year of establishment of the   unit and

ii.                   Employees in service and drawing salary above Rs.10,000 per month as on 31/03/2014

iii.               All regular employees who are in service on the date of issue of this order and who joined duty before 4th Onam of 2014 (09/09/2014)

Those who were retired or even relieved from service on or before 31.03.2014 and had put in six months continuous service during the financial year 2013-14 will also be eligible for Special Festival Allowance provided they are otherwise eligible for the same as per this order.

It is further ordered that no additional payment in any other form or name shall be made to the above categories of employees for whom special Festival Allowance alone is admissible. The chief Executives of the PSUs concerned will be held personally responsible for any such payments and the amount so paid will be recovered from them treating it as their personal liability.
