Cashless medical treatment for state government employees & pensioners

GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL
FINANCE DEPARTMENT

CASHLESS MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR STATE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES & PENSIONRS

The State Government has decided to introduce the “West Bengal Health for All Employees and Pensioners Cashless Medical Treatment Scheme, 2014” from 15-09-2014 for the benefit of the State Government Employees, State Government Pensioners including family Pensioners and the  dependents who have opted for the scheme in lieu of Medical Allowance. All India Service (A.I.S) Officers and pensioners of west Bengal Cadre and their dependents who have opted for the existing scheme are also covered under the new scheme.


To avail the benefit of the Cashless Medical Treatment under the Scheme, a Government Employee or Government Pensioner already enrolled under the West Bengal Health Scheme, 2008 shall have to enrol afresh through the link west Bengal health scheme provided in the Finance department’s website http://wbfin.nic.in The link will be operational from 15-09-2014.

Employees/Pensioners not enrolled in the earlier scheme but are desirous of erolment under west Bengal health scheme will also have to enrol online. Manual enrolment will be discontinued from 15th September, 2015.

In cash Employees/Pensioners face any problem in online enrolment they may seek the help of the concerned DDO/s pension sanctioning authority (PSA).

GPF Account No. and Date of Birth in respect of Government Employees and P.P.O.No. and date of Birth in respect of Government Pensioners will be used for online enrolment.  For further details, log on to the link west Bengal Health scheme provided in the finance department’s website http://Wbfin.nic.in.
